38-year-old Tampa woman Rotesha Silveus faces a first-degree murder charge for the death of her 18-year-old daughter, Natavia Sanders, who reportedly called police saying she woke up after being strangled. Officers responded to the home on May 11th, where they found Sanders unresponsive and began CPR. She was later pronounced dead at a hospital. Silveus was initially charged with aggravated battery and resisting an officer with violence; her charges have since been upgraded.
