The Nigerian Federal Government aims to create 37,000 jobs in the geriatric care industry, according to the Director General of the National Senior Citizens Centre (NSSC), Dr. Emem Omokaro. In the past year, the NSCC has built a system of caregiving for older people in the fields of health and social care, working closely with the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) to design a caregiving course.
