27-year-old Jose Solivan was arrested for allegedly abandoning a nursing dog, Mya, and selling her puppies, charged with animal cruelty and false statement, ordered not to possess animals.
Wolcott police arrested Jose Solivan, 27, for allegedly dumping a nursing dog named Mya on the side of the road and selling her puppies, which were too young to be removed from her. A passerby found Mya on April 16. Out of the seven puppies, five have been recovered. Solivan has been charged with cruelty to animals and false statement; he has been ordered not to possess any animals.
