13-year-old boy, Aras Rudzianskas, dies in hospital after getting into difficulty in River Tyne, following the death of 14-year-old David Radut. Both boys were from Newcastle and were in the river near Ovingham, Northumberland, on Saturday. Aras was rescued from the water and taken to hospital, but died on Tuesday, despite the efforts of medical staff. Northumbria Police continue to support the parents of both boys, who are being assisted by specially-trained officers.
