Manitoba Public Insurance (MPI) opens a temporary hail-damage estimate center in Winnipeg after a recent hailstorm caused over 1,150 claims. The center aims to speed up the process of dealing with hail-related damage claims, as MPI also handles 15,000 claims opened last year due to a storm in August. The new center will provide 70 appointments daily and will be open from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
