Kansas Rep. Carl Maughan faces charges for DUI and possession of a firearm while intoxicated, stemming from his arrest on March 4th. After the arrest, Maughan stepped down from his role as Vice Chair of the House Judiciary Committee. The Kansas Supreme Court is also considering suspending Maughan's law license due to misconduct in representing a client involved in a 2016 deadly crash.
