Texas SNAP recipients can now apply for replacement benefits after storm damage, following Governor Greg Abbott's announcement. The Texas Health and Human Services Commission received federal approval to allow SNAP recipients to apply for benefits for food lost or destroyed due to recent severe weather and flooding. Eligible applicants can call 2-1-1 to apply for the replacement benefits.
