16 May 2024: Azerbaijani and Armenian parliamentary speakers meet in Geneva to discuss peace process support.
Azerbaijani Parliament Chairperson Sahiba Gafarova disclosed issues debated with Armenian counterpart Alen Simonyan during the second meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian parliamentary speakers. The meeting took place at the first meeting of the organizing committee of the VI World Conference of Parliament Speakers in Geneva on May 16, 2024, amid peace negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. The discussions focused on ways the parliaments could support the peace process.
