Victorian public sector nurses and midwives have rejected the state government's renewed pay offer. Stage one of their industrial action, including wearing union T-shirts, refusing overtime and administrative bans, continues. The in-principle agreement had included cash payments for all and new allowances. The nurses' union, the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation, had previously rejected a three per cent pay rise with an annual $1,500 payment.
