Three men, including two siblings, died due to suffocation inside a well in Assam's Cachar district after attempting to rescue a third person who had fallen unconscious while cleaning the well. The well, used for drinking water, had a hen that fell inside, leading Monojit Deb to attempt to clean it. The incident occurred in the Phoolertal area under Lakhipur Police Station.
