Child church attendance has risen by almost 6% in 2023, according to the Church of England's annual Statistics for Mission findings. Overall weekly attendance at Church of England services increased by almost 5% last year, reaching 685,000 from 654,000 in 2022. Although the figures show a positive trend, they are still below the pre-pandemic levels of 854,000 weekly attendees in 2019.
