70-year-old Hugh McCormick from Winnipeg discovered six previously unknown siblings after receiving a DNA test kit as a Christmas gift from his son-in-law. The test results confirmed his northern European heritage and revealed an unknown relative who had also taken the 23andMe test. Upon contacting this relative, McCormick learned his birth mother's name, which led to the discovery of more siblings.
