Eurostar has reversed its new accessibility policy, which left a wheelchair user stranded at London St Pancras, following pressure from the Observer. The company had banned London staff from pushing passenger wheelchairs, requiring disabled travellers to either travel with a companion or cancel their ticket if they needed assistance. Eurostar has since retrained its London staff and revised the policy.
