Police in Papakura made several arrests over recent theft and shoplifting incidents. A taste for scorched almonds led to the apprehension of one alleged shoplifter, who was found with 12 boxes of stolen almonds. A 25-year-old woman was charged with 20 shoplifting offences and appeared in court. Another arrest was made after a shoplifter took meat products from a supermarket.
