39-year-old Auckland man arrested and charged with nine counts of shoplifting after allegedly stealing over $2,000 worth of canned corned beef in eight separate incidents since November 2023. The suspect was caught by staff at Woolworths Takanini attempting to leave without paying. Police stress the importance of community involvement in preventing and addressing retail theft.
