Three men charged under UK's National Security Act.
Three men, aged 38, 37, and 63, have been charged under the UK's National Security Act with assisting the Hong Kong intelligence service and foreign interference. The Metropolitan Police stated that the men will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court. The charges are not related to a separate case involving Russia. A total of 11 people were detained in connection with the investigation, eight of whom were released without charge. The three men charged are Chi Leung (Peter) Wai, Matthew Trickett, and Chung Biu Yuen.
