14 large invasive bighead carp, weighing at least 45 pounds each, were found in a Colorado pond by Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) following a public tip. The carp, which can grow to massive sizes in both small and large bodies of water, were removed using electrofishing methods. These invasive species can outcompete native Colorado species for food and resources.
