Heavy smoke from northeast British Columbia wildfires enters northern Minnesota and moves south, expected to reach "unhealthy" levels. Sensitive groups advised to avoid prolonged outdoor exertion, and everyone to limit outdoor activities. Public advised to reduce or eliminate activities contributing to air pollution, such as outdoor burning, wood burning devices, limit vehicle trips and idling, and keep windows closed overnight to prevent smoke from entering homes. Alert to be lifted on Monday morning.
