The grant fully funds tuition, books, and other costs, in exchange for graduates working in underserved communities. This initiative, already benefiting nearly 3,800 learners, seeks to address healthcare workforce shortages in Northern, Eastern, and Southwestern Ontario. The region celebrates Nursing Week (May 6-12, 2024) acknowledging the vital role nurses play in providing care across the province, with over 17,000 new nurses added to the workforce.
