Camilla, the Queen consort, celebrated the 90th anniversary of equine welfare charity Brooke at Buckingham Palace by feeding carrots to donkeys and horses. As the charity's president since 2006, Camilla met Alfie the donkey and LaLa, a Shetland pony, and marked the milestone by hosting a reception. Brooke, founded in 1934 to support abandoned horses from WWI, now works across three continents and 15 countries, helping 1.4 million working animals directly.
