Neuromorphic computing pioneer SpiNNcloud Systems has announced the commercial availability of its SpiNNaker2 platform, a supercomputer-level hybrid AI high-performance computer system based on human brain principles. The system uses low-power processors to efficiently compute AI and other workloads. SpiNNaker2 differentiates from GPU solutions with greater versatility, superior performance, reduced costs, and enhanced availability. Initial cloud platform solutions will be available in 2024, with full systems available for shipment in 2025.
