Skipper Lance Goodhew faces trial for allegedly breaching his duties as skipper of the Enchanter, a fishing boat that capsized off North Cape, killing five passengers. The boat was returning from a trip to the Three Kings Islands when it was struck by a massive wave, capsizing and throwing the crew and passengers into the water. Goodhew is charged with exposing individuals to a risk of death or serious injury, and faces a maximum penalty of a $150,000 fine.
