Kamden Campos, a Wichita man, pleaded guilty and no contest to various charges including aggravated kidnapping, multiple attempts to kill his girlfriend, and causing great bodily harm to her 22-month-old child during a 2021 incident. The crime occurred at Cheney Lake where Campos abducted his girlfriend and her two children. After attempting to murder his girlfriend, she managed to escape with her children in the car, prompting Campos to shoot at the vehicle, injuring the child.
