The River Thames in London has seen several unusual animal sightings since 2006, including whales, sharks, seals, and dolphins, according to the Zoological Society of London (ZSL) and London Wildlife Trust. At least five species of sharks, including Tope and Starry Smoothhound sharks, inhabit the estuary, with 4,000 harbor and grey seals living in the outer estuary. Dolphins were last spotted in April 2024.
