Voodin Blade Technology installs prototype of world's first wooden wind turbine blades in Breuna.

Germany's Voodin Blade Technology has installed a prototype of the world's first wooden wind turbine blades, made from laminated veneer lumber (LVL), in Breuna. The LVL blades are more sustainable, offer better recycling capabilities, and are more durable than traditional fiberglass and epoxy resin blades. They also provide automation and flexibility through CNC milling technology. Voodin plans to build larger prototypes and further develop this eco-friendly alternative for wind energy.
