Belfast Marathon organisers have urged participants not to swap or sell race numbers due to concerns over insurance and contacting emergency services in the event of an incident. Claire O'Neill, the marathon's executive manager, said the issue is "massive" and could affect age-category results. The race, featuring over 5,000 entrants, takes place on May 5th, starting at Stormont Estate and finishing at Ormeau Park, covering all four areas of Belfast.
