2023 survey reveals non-Indigenous visible minorities in Regina have a more positive perception of the RPS than Indigenous or white residents. The RPS community perception survey found overall increased perceptions of the service, with visible minorities perceiving police as more visible and reporting higher safety levels in their communities. Indigenous respondents had the lowest perceptions of police sensitivity to their needs.
