A tornado outbreak in Oklahoma caused widespread destruction, particularly in Sulphur, with tens of thousands of residents losing power. Governor Kevin Stitt declared a state of emergency in 12 counties and announced a full support from the federal government in response to this disaster. At least four people died and dozens were injured as a result of the tornadoes, which also left significant damage in historic downtown Sulphur, destroying and damaging numerous businesses.
