45-yr-old man Shaun Cloonan arrested in Costa Mesa for setting trash bins on fire, suspected of felony arson.

45-year-old San Pedro man Shaun Michael Cloonan was arrested on suspicion of setting trash bins on fire in Costa Mesa. Detectives reviewed surveillance footage and used automated license plate reader cameras to identify Cloonan's vehicle. He was booked for five counts of felony arson and two misdemeanor counts of drug-related offenses. Costa Mesa Fire and Rescue determined the fires to be arson.
