The University of Maine has unveiled the world's largest 3D printer, capable of printing houses and potentially entire neighborhoods. The "Factory of the Future 1.0" is four times the size of its predecessor and uses bio-based materials to create printed neighborhoods, addressing homelessness in the region. The massive printer, dubbed "Factory of the Future 1.0", combines collaborative robotics operations with new sensors, high-performance computing and artificial intelligence.
