Taiwanese father and son, Huang Lung-lung and Huang Sheng-yu, were sentenced to eight years in prison each for spying for China, gathering secret military data and attempting to create a spying organization. They were paid NT$1.7 million ($52,160) and allegedly disregarded national security. Two soldiers involved received prison terms of seven and six years. This case is part of a growing number of eavesdropping incidents on the island.
