37-year-old Maninder Singh was sentenced to 13 years and 3 months in prison for his involvement in the kidnapping of a Wolverhampton accountant in October 2022. The kidnappers, identified through CCTV, ANPR technology, and mobile phone data, held the victim captive for seven hours, threatening violence and taking £19,000 as ransom. All four suspects are now behind bars due to their extortion attempt.
