In Himachal Pradesh, a college girl was stabbed multiple times by a known assailant at a local bus stand in Palampur, Kangra district. The attacker, who was pressuring the woman for marriage, was overpowered by alert passengers and handed over to the police. The victim, who sustained deep wounds to her body and head, was initially taken to Tanda Medical College and later shifted to PGI, where she is now out of danger.
