La Pine couple arrested in a traffic stop for alleged fentanyl trafficking from Portland to south Deschutes County; authorities found fake fentanyl and methamphetamine tablets in their vehicle. A 6-year-old child in the car was placed with family members. The Central Oregon Drug Enforcement Team and U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration concluded a long-term investigation with the arrests of driver Mario Michael Fivecoats, 35, and his passenger, Rebecca Ann Toepfer, 31.
