During a traffic stop on Interstate 5 in Douglas County, Oregon, police arrested Gustavo Alonso Franco Valenzuela, 32, after discovering 100 pounds of fentanyl-laced pills in his vehicle, equivalent to about 450,000 doses. Valenzuela admitted he was transporting the drugs to Portland. He has been federally charged with delivery of a controlled substance. The investigation into the case is ongoing.
