1,056 children in Xinjiang with congenital heart diseases receive free surgeries via Chinese Red Cross Foundation program.
1,056 children with congenital heart diseases in Xinjiang will receive free surgeries through a program initiated by the Chinese Red Cross Foundation (CRCF). Collaborating with hospitals in Shanghai, Beijing, and the provinces of Henan and Shandong, the CRCF dispatched medical experts to screen children in 14 locations. The long-term program has already screened over 15,000 children in Xinjiang and completed surgeries for eligible patients.
