Bharat Fritz Werner (BFW), a major machine tool manufacturer, has invested ₹200 crore to set up a digitalized manufacturing plant in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. The 54-acre facility, equipped with two assembly halls, aims to triple production annually and is set to produce over 10,000 CNC machines. BFW plans to employ women in the Hosur factory, targeting 30% of its shopfloor workforce as female by FY25.
