The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run accident that occurred on Friday at the intersection of Central Ave and Yale Blvd SE. A pedestrian was critically injured when a red 2015 Mercedes CLA, with a lemon-yellow New Mexico plate and possible front-end damage, struck him while he was crossing the street in or near a crosswalk. The driver fled east on Central Ave.
