27-year-old Providence man, Eliezer Melero, was arrested in New Bedford for drunk driving and firearm offenses, including unlawful possession of a high-capacity firearm.
Providence man, Eliezer Melero, 27, was arrested in New Bedford for drunk driving and firearm offenses. Police observed Melero's vehicle driving erratically at 3 a.m. on April 14. Melero was found to have a blood alcohol content of 0.16 and had a Glock 17 pistol near his feet. He is charged with drunk driving, failure to submit to police, resisting arrest, and unlawful possession of a high-capacity firearm.
