A 17th-century Salvator Rosa painting, "A Rocky Coast, with Soldiers Studying a Plan," stolen from Oxford's Christ Church Picture Gallery in 2020, has been recovered in Romania through international efforts between UK, Romanian, and Interpol police forces. The painting, valued at £2 million, has been safely returned to its rightful place. However, two other stolen works, Anthony Van Dyck's "A Soldier on Horseback" and Annibale Carracci's "A Boy Drinking," remain missing.
