A Caravaggio masterpiece, mistakenly thought to be by an unknown artist and almost auctioned off for €1,500, will be unveiled at the Prado Museum in Madrid. Entitled "Ecce Homo", the painting depicts a bloodied Jesus wearing a crown of thorns before his crucifixion. The culture ministry blocked the auction, and experts have confirmed it as a "Caravaggio masterpiece" worth millions.
