Cyprus' House of Representatives marked a minute's silence for Armenian Genocide victims on April 18. Acting House President, Zacharias Koulias, highlighted April 24th as the "black anniversary". Cyprus, the second nation to recognize the genocide in 1975, observed the annual Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day to remember the millions of Armenians displaced, suffering and killed in 1915.
