Azerbaijan honored those who fought in the Second Karabakh War on Remembrance Day, September 27.

On September 27, Azerbaijan observed Remembrance Day, honoring those who fought in the 44-day Second Karabakh War. The Defense Ministry's leadership, including Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, and various state officials visited the under-construction Victory Park in Baku, laying roses at a memorial stone. This commemoration is officially recognized following a decree by President Ilham Aliyev on December 2, 2020.
