15-year-old series of rapes in Hackney are brought to justice. Kurt Forbes, 39, was found guilty of three rapes and one attempted rape between 1998 and 2006. Despite a warrant issued for his arrest in 2022, he evaded police until January 2023. Detective Constable Thomas Millard praised the victim's bravery in coming forward and providing evidence. Forbes has been sentenced to 11 years in prison.
