IREDA opens GIFT City office for foreign currency loans to finance green hydrogen and renewable energy projects in India.

India's Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) opens a new office in GIFT City, Gandhinagar, to offer foreign currency loans for green hydrogen and renewable energy manufacturing projects. The move aims to reduce financing costs and support India's sustainable energy goals, which include producing 5 million metric tons of green hydrogen annually by 2030. IREDA's GIFT City office will also formulate a storage requirement roadmap up to 2047 to support India's transition to a sustainable energy future.
