Churchill's disliked Sutherland portrait to be auctioned at Sotheby's for £500k-£800k.

A portrait of Winston Churchill painted by artist Graham Sutherland, whose work Churchill disliked, is set to be auctioned at Sotheby's in London on June 6, with an estimated value between £500,000 and £800,000 ($622,000 and $995,000). The oil-on-canvas study, created in preparation for a larger painting that Churchill despised and had destroyed, is set to be displayed at Blenheim Palace, Churchill's birthplace, before being exhibited in New York and London.
