Singapore launches a new emissions registry for businesses to accurately track and report carbon emissions, including scope 3 emissions, and develops localized emission factors for conversion into greenhouse gas emissions. The registry, known as the Singapore Emission Factors Registry (SEFR), is expected to support existing reporting tools, align with international sustainability standards, and help businesses make informed decisions on reducing their carbon footprint.
