President Bola Tinubu has instructed Vice-Chancellors and heads of Nigerian tertiary institutions to fully implement new financial guidelines approved by the Federal government. The guidelines, developed in collaboration with stakeholders, aim to promote probity, good governance, and proper financial management in public institutions. Tinubu also pledged to strengthen Open and Distance Learning (ODL) in Nigeria, emphasizing the importance of this approach in achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
