12-year-old arrested in connection with attempted armed robbery at Pawleys Island McDonald's on March 31st. A 12-year-old boy and a 16-year-old suspect allegedly demanded money from a female employee, who was struck in the head with a rifle-style firearm after one of the suspects fired three shots at her. The 16-year-old remains at large, and Georgetown County Sheriff's Office is asking anyone with information to call (843) 546-5102.
