Pinecrest police officer accidentally shot during firearms training in Miami-Dade County; stable condition.
A Pinecrest police officer was accidentally shot in the arm by a fellow officer during a firearms training exercise at the Homestead Training Center in Miami-Dade County. The injured officer, a woman, was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement will investigate the incident while the Pinecrest Police Department conducts its own internal investigation.
